It’s Time for an Awakening
It’s time for an awakening. Jesus always knew the Body of Christ would go to sleep, but spoke of a time a call would go out to stir the church out of its sleep. That time is now and the call is going forth. The return of our Lord is near, the king is coming, so awaken and arise.
God is stirring an awakening in the church throughout the United Kingdom and the world. From These Shores believes its time and holds meetings throughout the UK to stir awakening. The following video is a message from one of these meetings.

Hear the Call
in Matthew 25, Jesus told the parable of the 10 virgins. This parable gives a lot of insight that is relevant to us today. Jesus showed that all of the 10 went to sleep, but right before the bridegroom came, a cry went out. This stirred them from sleep and caused them to wake up.
That call is going out now to the hearts of believers. We are so close to the return of Jesus, but many are still sleeping. It’s time to hear the cry from the Lord and to awaken.
Many Christians have little sense of the urgency of the hour. Expectancy is low. God wants us to arise from sleep and to recognise the hour we are living in.

The Word and the Spirit
God desires His Word to be taught and understood. This is why there’s a need for solid teaching. The end times Glorious church that Jesus is coming back for will be washed in the water of the Word. The Word of God imparts faith to our heart and with faith comes expectancy. Expectancy for the move of God and for the manifestation of the Spirit.
Also, expectancy is a quality of awake Christians. We are expecting the return of Jesus. He is not coming back for a church that is still asleep, but instead for a church that has woken up, trimmed their lamps and that is burning bright with the fire of God and shining the light of the Word of God strong throughout the world.

God is stirring hearts across the world. Here in the United Kingdom, it is time for Christians to awaken to what God is doing. From These Shores is taking a stand for the move of God in the U.K. and teaching the Word across the nation to stir people’s faith in God.
