Healing in the Gospels

God has given a number of examples of healing in the ministry of Jesus. These cases in the Gospels teach us about the healing ministry.

Often, ideas that are taught about healing are opposite to what Jesus said or simply cannot be found in how Jesus ministered to the sick. If we want to get the kind of results we see in the Gospels, it’s important that we learn from the examples God has given us.

Understanding the Healing Ministry

The best place to learn more about the healing ministry is through Jesus Himself. Jesus healed a lot of people and we are given details about a number of them.

God chose these examples because they contain what we need to know.

There are examples which focus on the person ministering healing and others which focus on the person receiving. We see how Jesus helped these people receive and can learn from what He said to them.

The truths revealed in the ministry of Jesus still apply today. We are not supposed to come up with our own new ideas about healing which are not consistent with the ministry of Jesus.

Sometimes we only focus on on case in the Gospels, but don’t look at the big picture of all of them. This series goes through each case one by one to build a thorough picture of healing.
